Download
The visual Miner is free and open source (under the same license as ProM).
It is available in two pieces of software:
-
It is available as a plug-in of the ProM framework, which can be downloaded from the ProM website.
-
Furthermore, it is also part of the ProM Quick Visualiser, which can be downloaded from its website.
Its source code is available on
svn.
Getting Started
The visual Miner works on event logs.
A good event log to start with is the
BPI Challenge 2012 event log.
-
To use the visual Miner in ProM, load an event log into ProM and run either the plug-in "Mine with Inductive visual Miner", or the plug-in "Mine with Directly Follows visual Miner".
-
To use the visual Miner in the ProM Quick Visualiser, drag an event log onto the Quick Visualiser.
In the column on the right, choose 'use' and either 'Directly Follows visual Miner' or 'Inductive visual Miner'.
For more information, please download the visual Miner's manual.
If you have any further questions or feature requests, please post them on the ProM forum, or see the support pages.
